Berlin. Capital of Germany and quite easily the coolest city I have ever visited. Famous for its history, as well as its nightlife and club culture, it really is a hub of human activity. Equally comfortable with its divided past as it is with its united present, Berlin is a modern and culturally diverse city oozing with a kind of tolerance that makes its Nazi past almost unbelievable. Visiting present day Berlin, it's hard to believe that little more than 20 years ago, the Berlin Wall that had literally separated families, friends and lovers for generations, was still standing.
