The Vegetarian House was opened twelve years ago by its founder, Supreme Master Ching Hai, with a vision of a world where humans and animals live in peace.
One of the initial goals of the restaurant, says Sunny Mueller, the restaurant's manager, was to show people there is an alternative way of living,
a more compassionate and noble way of being.
