DESCRIPTION: Two Dollar Radio Headquarters (HQ), a locally owned and operated family-run shop, is an indie bookstore, performance space, bar, coffeehouse, and fully vegan cafe located on South Side of Columbus, Ohio. Our family-friendly space offers plenty of comfy seating as well as a dedicated kids' corner with a rug, small chairs and table, coloring activities, books for playing with, and rotating toys, as well as stacks of board games, cards, and puzzles available for use.

As a bookshop, we carry an exciting, carefully curated list of titles almost exclusively devoted to independently published literature. Our bar serves cocktails, wine, and draft beer, and our cafe serves locally roasted coffee, house-made vegan meats and cheezes, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, dips, and more. Our performance space features a wide range of offerings from panel discussions, local and touring author readings, musicians, magicians, trivia, themed storytelling, poetry open mics, and more!

CUISINE: American, Eclectic, Fast Food, Mexican and Pizza.

Our counter-service cafe — open during our regular business hours — serves up delicious housemade vegan cuisine, as well as the best beers and coffee from the best local and nationally recognized craft brewers and roasters, and is a natural complement to our bookstore. Sip on a latte while snacking on a doughnut in the morning, catch up on work on your laptop while munching on fresh dips or filling sandwich in the afternoon, snag a Hoof Hearted or Seventh Son beer on draft and a pizza in the evening while chilling with friends or watching one of our many live events. More than that, it's a place where you can interact with friends and engage with your community in a casual, comfortable, family-friendly setting.

    COMMENTS: GREEN STATEMENT:
At Two Dollar Radio Headquarters — our family-run indie bookstore, vegan cafe & coffeehouse, bar, and performance space — with sustainability in mind, in no particular order:
* We built almost all of our tables, shelves, barstools, and bar ourselves, from local reclaimed alley wood, saving the resources that would have gone into new store-bought wood and preventing the alley wood from going to a landfill.
* We decorated our walls with reused decor from our homes or thrift stores.
* We serve a fully vegan menu, and even make our own vegan meats, cheezes, sauces, pizza dough and more in house, from scratch.
* We compost all of the food waste we generate, both pre- and post-consumer waste, in our own Southern Orchards backyard.
* We created a low-water pollinator garden in our outdoor public space.
* We provide filtered tap water infused with cucumber at a self-serve station.
* We provide bulk condiments at a self-serve station.
* We provide paper straws instead of plastic straws.
* We provide paper napkins made from 100% recycled paper (Earth Wise).
