"I'm always happy to try a new veg place! On Valencia with Cha-Ya (vegan Japanese), Shizen (vegan Japanese), Herbivore (vegan American), and Udupi Palace (vegetarian South Indian), Indochine has a nice look, a nice feel, good service, is pan-Asian, and is a welcome addition to San Francisco.
I really enjoyed the clay pot eggplant & tofu, which was meltingly scrumptious, and the miso soup was smooth, mellow, and delicious. The lemongrass tofu looks fantastic, and tastes fine, but it wasn't fully satisfying to me. I can't remember the other dish we got, which was fine, but not exciting. Both the white and brown rice were good.
For me, the overall experience was very good, but not great. Indochine won't be my go-to place, but I will definitely return."
