"I celebrated my 40th bday there, amazing ambience, food, service, not overpriced, beautiful decor (especially the nice blue glass sink in the toilet), there is take-out food as well in nice plastic containers, great puddings, vegan fish cakes and lasagnas. This is one place that should expand all over the Montreal map ! I just love this restaurant, it is a 5 stars in my book :-) Bravo Bonnie for making me such a great vegan choco cake, I'll never forget the taste!"

"You may forget that you're just below Montreal's downtown core when you enter the log cabin corridor. It leads to a red brick dining room whose long windows frame a nearby park. Bonny, owner and chef, relies as much as possible on local, organic ingredients, and embellishes with herbs and spices rather than with dairy, sugar or wheat. Even though I'm gluten intolerant, I can find comfort food: a hearty lentil burger flanked with warm salsa and a large, tangy salad of mixed greens and carrots. The thick black bean and quinoa chile is equally filling and gluten-free. An extensive take-out menu is also available, including home-baked treats such as carrot cake with maple/cashew dressing and rice krispie squares with almonds. At $16- $20 for lunch, the price is comfortable too."
