    COMMENTS FROM VegDining.com VISITORS:
"I go to Paradise Noodle House at least once a week; sometimes 2 or 3 times a week isn't enough! I first found this place three years ago, and have been a regular there ever since. I work about 40 minutes away from Paradise Noodle House, and I'll often drive the 40+ minutes (in rush hour) to have a bowl of their veggie beef noodle soup. I've been a vegetarian for years, so have never tried 'meat' pho, only their veggie pho. I've brought omnivore friends here before, who've said the veggie pho here is far better than the meat pho at their favourite pho haunts. There's nothing like a bowl of soup with noodles as great comfort food. Their spicy noodle soup is delicious, and so is their wonton soup.

Try the do-it-yourself dinner; it looks impressive, is filling, it's delicious, and inexpensive. There's also combo #3 (on the back of the menu) which is delicious (but deep-fried, so if that ain't your thing, then don't). The Vietnamese crepes are delicious, and their sizzling salmon (on a sizzler with pineapple and shiitake mushrooms) is delicious, too.

This is my favourite restaurant in the lower mainland, and like I said before, I have no qualms about driving 45 minutes just to have their pho. Go!"

"I am a very strict vegan, and am glad to be living in Vancouver, where there are so many great restaurants to choose from. However, I find that whenever I want to go out, I'm going way downtown or to Kits. I'd seen this restaurant many times, but never been in. Wanting to go someplace close-by one say, I decided to check it out. It was fantastic! I've been twice now (both in the space of one week!), and each time the food was dynamite. My personal favourites are the lemon-grass gluten and the broccoli and chicken in black bean sauce, but I've tried other dishes that were fantastic. Both times I went with meat-eaters, who loved the place as much as I did. The only thing that I didn't really care for were the salad rolls - they were very bland. Of course, they are made with veggie ham which contains weigh, and I had it without, which may have been part of the reason that they didn't seem very flavourful. The prices are excellent - for four dishes and an appetizer, the bill came to under $40. Every entree comes with your choice of either rice or vermicelli noodles (only white rice, though. I wish they served brown). All of the flavours at this restaurant are completely unique, no two dishes taste alike. I strongly recommend it - it is better than a lot of the restaurants downtown!"
