"I just returned from my first visit to Nicaragua and El Gato Negro was one of the greatest surprises of my trip. The atmosphere is warm, colorful and inviting. The food was great, the coffees and teas better than you find in the states and the hospitality was beyond personable. Kelly and Rob are terrific, talented people who have put their hearts and souls in what I consider to be the hub of San Juan del Sur. Kelly's special gift for decorating and choosing colors which speak to the heart mixed with Rob's obvious business savvy creates a combination that most would envy. The food was fresh and delicious and I highly recommend everyone go and experience this little piece of heaven. There is a huge selection of books and magazines as well and the coffee was better than Starbucks!"
